The Statistics screen shows how your catalog orders or inquiries perform over time: how many were created and completed, their value, which products sell and how registered customers and guests behave. You can filter every report, compare it with the previous period and export it to CSV.
Where to find the statistics
Go to Products > Stats. The screen is available in the Web Store and Inquiry Catalog modes, because the reports are built from saved orders and inquiries. In the Simple and Affiliate catalog modes there is nothing to report on.
Report tabs
In Web Store mode the reports are split into five tabs:
- Overview – Orders created, Orders completed, Gross order earnings, Average order value and Purchased units
- Products – Purchased units, Product revenue and Product order counts
- Orders – Orders created, Orders completed, Order completion rate, Requested order value and Average requested order value
- Customers – orders, revenue and average order value (AOV) for registered customers and for guests, plus Unique registered customers and Returning registered customers
- Sales & Payments – earnings, order values, Successful payments and Payment failures
In Inquiry Catalog mode the same reports describe inquiries instead of orders. The tabs are Overview, Products, Carts & Inquiries, Customers and Inquiries, and the metrics are named accordingly, for example Inquiries, Completed inquiries and Completed inquiry value. No payments are taken in this mode, so there are no payment metrics.
Each report shows a box with the total for every metric, a chart when there is enough data, breakdowns and a Summary table with the value and the number of records behind it.
Filtering and comparing
By default a report covers the last 30 days. Use the filter bar above the report to change it:
- From and To – the date range
- Catalog and Currency
- Product and Order value (Inquiry value in inquiry mode)
- Category – on the Products tab
- Registered user and User role – on the Customers tab
- Gateway and Payment status – on the Sales & Payments tab
- Compare – set it to Previous period to compare the results with the period of the same length just before
Click Apply filters to update the report, or Reset filters to return to the defaults.
Exporting a report
Click Export CSV above the report to download the current report with the filters you applied.
Choosing which metrics are collected
Open Metrics collected on this report to switch individual metrics on or off, then click Save metrics. Disabling a metric stops new collection for it.
Metrics based on your saved orders or inquiries are calculated from the existing records, so they include activity from before you switched them on. Metrics that are counted as they happen start counting only after you enable them and can’t fill in earlier activity. The panel tells you which kind each metric is.
