eCommerce Product Catalog works without the shopping cart by default: the default Simple Catalog mode displays your products without any call to action. See Choose a Catalog Mode.
Depending on your needs, you can let visitors contact you or leave the site in other ways. These options are built in:
- Inquiry Catalog mode – visitors collect products in a quote cart and send you one inquiry for all of them. See Enable Quote Cart / Inquiry Catalog mode.
- Affiliate Catalog mode – a button on each product page that points to an external link. See Affiliate Catalog Mode.
- Disable the price if you don’t want to show prices at all.
You can extend the catalog with these extensions:
- Quote Form – to add quote form on each product page or a quote button which leads to the quote form
- Quote Cart – extends the built-in inquiry cart with more features
- PDF catalog – to generate fully customizable printable PDF catalog
- Product Print – to add a print button which will generate a product printable view with a custom header and footer.
If you decide to sell later, you can switch to the Web Store mode with the built-in shopping cart at any time, or add a simple buy now button with or without payment processing:
