The simple export is located in Products > Settings > General Settings > Import / Export, in the Simple Export section.
Press the Export all items to CSV file button to export your products with Image URL, Name, Price, Categories, Short Description and Long Description. If prices are disabled, the Price column is left out.
The file uses the same columns and CSV separator as the simple import, so you can edit it in a spreadsheet and import it on another site. On another site, the images are attached only if the same image URLs exist in its media library. Products are exported in alphabetical order, with the full-size image URL and the categories separated by ” | “. Note that importing always adds new products, so do not import the file back to the same catalog.
Download Product CSV
After the CSV file is generated the download URL will appear.
Press the Download CSV link to start downloading the CSV file.
Simple export limitations
There are two limitations:
- You can export a maximum of 1000 products
- You can export only Image URL, Name, Price, Categories, Short Description and Long Description
You can improve this with Product CSV extension which will let you import, export and update all products and all product fields.
