Today I have a great news. Finally we made available long awaited exension: Product Discounts.
With this extension you can apply discounts to aby product. It can be percentage discount or a new discount price. You can also specify the quantity from which the discount applies.
New Product Discount box
With this extension the product edit/add page gains new box. It is product discount box which makes all the job when assigning product discount. When the discount value is assigned the rest of the job is made by the plugin.
Discount on product lisitng
When the discount for the product is applied it will show up on product listing. See how it looks by default on modern grid and classic grid theme:

Also the product page will show up the discount assigned. See how it looks on Twenty Ten theme:
Change the discount labels
Discount labels can be changed easily in Product Settings > Front-end Labels. If you don’t want any labels just leave the fields empty.
Promote the discount products
The nice feature here is [[promo_box]] shortcode and Promo Widget. With those you can show current discount products anywhere on the website with robust CSS customisable box:

I already have your blog on my RSS so the information about the discount plugin came quick enought to buy it with a discount.
I already installed it and I have a question. Are you planning to implement a feature to set a time of a discount?
It would be also nice to have an option to enable the discount for many products at once.

Thank you for the feature ideas. The answer for both is YES! The first one will be implemented soon (maybe next week). The bulk edit for discounts will be also implemented later.
