It passed almost a month and 4 eCommerce Product Catalog updates since last post so I just want to sum up the new features.
Fist I want to thank you all for such a great interest in this project. We hit 21,000 downloads this week with more than 1,000 downloads per week and more than 100 per day. That’s really encouraging for us. Thank you all eCommerce Product Catalog users!
I also would like to thank all impleCode customers. It wouldn’t be possible without you to maintain this plugin. This allows us to allocate more and more resources in product catalog features and the documentation.
Custom decimal and thousand separator
In the latest version (1.6.4) we introduced custom decimal and thousand separator. Thanks to this feature eCommerce Product Catalog can be more useful for more users around the world. See the new settings:
As a addition we made the price fields in admin a little bit wider.
Number of products per row in classic grid
Thanks to your reports on classic grid errors we could fix it. In version 1.6.2 a number of product per row setting was introduced. It allows to tell the plugin how many rows the markup has to avoid styling issues. This styling issues mainly appear only when product names have different number of rows among the nearest products but with the new setting this is not an issue anymore.
