Product Variations Export & Import

Product Variations can be imported and exported when variations are enabled.

Product Variations Export

Product variations are exported in 2 or 5 columns placed after attributes columns:

  1. Variation Label – the product variation label text
  2. Variation Values – all the variation values separated by |
  3. Variation Prices – price effects for the variation (only when price effects are enabled for variations)
  4. Variation Shipping – shipping cost effects for the variation (only when shipping price effects are enabled for variations)
  5. Variation Mod Type – the modification type for price effects + or = (only when price effects are enabled for variations)

Product Variations Import

The variations fields should be set in the same format as in export file:

  1. Variation Label – any text for variation label
  2. Variation Values – all the variation values separated by | character
  3. Variation Prices – numbers separated by | character (only when price effects are enabled for variations)
  4. Variation Shipping – numbers separated by | character (only when shipping price effects are enabled for variations)
  5. Variation Mod Type – Two possible values: + or = (only when price effects are enabled for variations)

Importing variations as separate CSV rows

If you set products with the same name in the CSV file (one after another) it will be treated as product variations.
