Product Attribute Types

There are currently 6 product attribute types available:

  • Text (the deault)
  • Drop-down
  • Radio
  • Checkbox
  • Date
  • Hidden (actually any attribute type can be hidden)

Attribute Type Assignment

To assign the attribute type go to Products > Settings > Product Attributes and find or create your attribute.

Select the type of your attribute and save the settings. Now your attribute will be selected on product edit/add page according to the chosen type.

Available Attribute Values

You have to assign available attribute values if you chosse drop-down, radio or checkbox. If you leave the attribute values field empty the attribute will not become a chosen selector.
