Coupon discount type and value

Two coupon types are available:

• percentage (%) – the product price percentage discount
• value (=) – a fixed value discount

You can choose the discount type in Coupons > Add New inside the Coupon Rules box:

Coupon Discount Examples

1. Product Price $20
   Discount type: % (percentage)
   Discount Value: 10
   Product Discount Value: $20 * 10% = $2
   Product Discount Price: $20 – $2 = $18
2. Product Price $20
   Discount Type: = (value)
   Discount Value: 5
   Product Discount Value: $5
   Product Discount Price: $15
