You can assign the available price units in Catalog Settings > Price Units:
You can define an unlimited number of price units. For example, per kilogram, per meter and any other unit.
You can use a different label for the product page and product list.
Once you define the available price units, you will see them on the product edit screen:
Once selected, it will show up on the product page:
and product listing:
