New Product Filters Bar & Related Products

The eCommerce Product Catalog 2.4.0 was released today! It comes with some new, handy features.

Product Filters Bar and Widgets

3 new widgets are available since 2.4.0:

  1. Product sort – the sorting drop down
  2. Product Category Filter
  3. Product Price Filter – if price is enabled

Additionally we added a new widget area above the product list (for shortcode it can be enabled with sort attribute set to 1). You can fully control the product filters widget are by placing any wigets there. By default it will display the sort drop down (if you update) or all the filter widgets for new installations.

Product Catalog Filters Bar

Related Products

Now you can show related products instead of related categories on product page. You can do it in Products > Settings, just switch the Show Related option to Products.

The 2.4.0 comes also with related products widget. It will show up only on product pages if added to the sidebar.

I hope you enjoy new features. If you have any questions or bug/styling reports please comment below.

BTW: eCommerce Product Catalog has been downloaded more than 100 000 times now! Thank you!

Good Update. Really appreciate your hardwork.

Can I add custom attributes in the filter drop down? If yes, please let me know how I can do that. I have around 4 custom attributes.

      Thank you Ryan.

Unfortunately there is currently no filter for the attributes.
